Trade conditions

The following terms of sale and delivery apply to all deliveries from Skovs Studio

The terms apply in cases where no other written agreement has been entered into between you as the buyer and Skovs Studio

Complaints of physical goods

Any defects or deficiencies in deliveries from Skovs Studio must be reported within a reasonable time after you discover the defect, and you must contact Skovs Studio as soon as possible.

It is your obligation to specify and, upon request, demonstrate how the defect or deficiency manifests. This can, for example, be done with photos or video recordings. Skovs Studio photographs all shipments during packing.

Returned goods are accepted ONLY by prior agreement. Skovs Studio recommends insuring the return shipment. You are responsible for the costs associated with sending the item to Skovs Studio.

You are responsible for ensuring the goods arrive intact. Therefore, make sure the item is well packaged, as Skovs Studio otherwise reserves the right to refuse receipt or credit of the item. In such cases, the damage can be documented with photos, provided we can send the images to a valid email address.

Right of complaint

Skovs Studio provides a 24-month right of complaint for consumer purchases for defects in the delivery. For businesses, the right of complaint is 6 months. The right of complaint does not cover normal wear and tear or incorrect use.

For 3D-printed products, minor inaccuracies and surface artifacts may occur. Dimensions in the finished print may deviate from the original 3D drawing. For example, holes will often be a few tenths of a millimeter smaller than in the 3D file, and external dimensions will often be a few tenths larger than stated in the file. It is therefore important to account for tolerances of 0.1 to 0.3 mm.

Skovs Studio provides a 3D printing service. This means you purchase a service in which Skovs Studio 3D-prints an item based on a 3D file for you.
Skovs Studio therefore does not assume responsibility for the item’s dimensions, function, durability, or fit, but only for the quality of the 3D print execution.
Errors recognized as valid complaints include, for example: layer shifting, incorrect material, incorrect color, missing parts, or incorrect quantities.

If you wish to exercise your right of complaint, please send an email directly to meik@skovsstudio.dk or contact customer service at +45 24 47 27 10. You will then receive instructions for return or remediation.

If the defect is not covered by the right of complaint, Skovs Studio will either offer to return the item, offer a repair, or the purchase of a new equivalent item.

If you do not respond within 30 days, Skovs Studio reserves the right to close the case.

If you have received an item that was damaged during transport, it is important that you keep the packaging. We recommend taking photos of the shipment before opening it. Transport damage must be reported to Skovs Studio immediately after you receive the shipment.

Right of withdrawal

Skovs Studio offers a 14-day right of withdrawal, valid from the day you receive your goods. If you regret your purchase, Skovs Studio must be notified no later than 14 days after the day you received your goods.

Goods that are manufactured for you or customized specifically for you are not covered by the right of withdrawal. This includes, for example, 3D-printed products.

To receive a full refund, you must return the item in the same condition as when you received it. If the item has been used, Skovs Studio will calculate a value reduction based on the item’s expected resale value.

You are responsible for the costs associated with returning the item. This also applies if, for example, you do not pick up your parcel at the pickup point, or if it could not be delivered to you for other reasons. In such cases, Skovs Studio will deduct the return shipping plus a handling and inspection fee of DKK 50 from the refund amount.

Skovs Studio does not accept shipments sent without postage or cash on delivery.

If the item was paid by credit card or MobilePay, the amount will always be refunded to the same payment method.

If the item was paid by bank transfer to our account, please include the account details to which the amount can be refunded.

Please include information about the order, for example a copy of the delivery note, and state the reason for the return. This is not a requirement, but it shortens processing time so you receive your refund more quickly.

Skovs Studio aims to process your refund within 8–10 days, but during holidays or busy periods, it may take a little longer.

Payment

All prices are excluding 25% VAT and in Danish kroner, unless otherwise stated. Prices are only valid within Denmark’s borders, excluding the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Invoicing and payment are processed through the Dinero accounting system.

Prices and Terms

Standard hourly rate: DKK 900,- excluding VAT, per hour.

Travel Costs

Kolding Municipality: DKK 350,- excluding project price
Other areas: DKK 500,- excluding project price and bridge tolls

Payment Terms

For amounts up to DKK 15,000 excluding VAT, payment is due before delivery of agreed items. For amounts above this, 50% is paid at project start and the remainder upon completion, unless otherwise agreed.

Intellectual Property Rights

Skovs Studio retains all design rights and intellectual property rights to all produced materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This includes, but is not limited to:

Design materials, mockups, sketches, and concepts
Source code and technical solutions
Graphic elements and visual designs

License Terms

Upon project completion and full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive right of use for the finished product under the following conditions:

The material may only be used for the agreed purpose
The material may not be resold or transferred to third parties without written permission
Modifications to the design may only be made with written agreement from Skovs Studio

Kickoff Meeting

For Website and Webshop projects, I have an intro meeting that costs DKK 900 + VAT, which will be invoiced if no collaboration is established. Upon established collaboration via an accepted quote, the DKK 900 will be deducted.

Transfer of Materials

Upon transfer of raw materials or completed work, or upon termination of the collaboration, Skov’s Studio assumes no responsibility for any subsequent use of previously executed programming or design. Skov’s Studio may charge a fee for releasing materials based on the time required to compile them. All Tecnical, Designs, CAD/CAM drawings for 3D production remain the property of Meik Skov Bundesen unless a separate written agreement, signed by both the customer and the designer, states otherwise.

Confidentiality

All employees/partners at Skovs Studio are bound by confidentiality upon receiving an assignment. The same applies to materials sent from Skovs Studio via email.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the agreed time, otherwise a fee equivalent to one hour of work will be charged. Cancellation must be made by email/in writing.

Personal Data and GDPR

Skovs Studio processes personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Personal data is stored for five years in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.

Disputes

Any disputes between the parties shall be attempted to be resolved amicably
