A passion for wine and people, to be conveyed to the locals

There was no doubt that it was a passionate team behind it. Therefore, it was important for me that their brand was personally designed and in a style that reflected their integrity and the quality and pride behind their services and what they offered in the form of homemade tapas.

It was therefore important for me to understand them and their dream, as well as the location they had found for the place and the history behind Låsbygade and its history as the old Latin Quarter, with lots of life and joy.

TASK BRIEF

  1. A brand had to be created that was personal and reflected what Finn and Birgitte wanted with their restaurant in Kolding.
  2. In addition to a brand, there also needed to be a place where people could read about their tapas concept online, with the possibility to book a table online, before they came down and enjoyed the surroundings.

What we gained from our collaboration with Meik was the complete visual identity for our business. But also an understanding of our audience and the elements that appeal to them when it comes to tapas and wine. We are very pleased with the collaboration and we look forward to opening new doors in the future, together with Meik

The project delivered a logo that captures comfort, coziness, and a passion for wine, while reflecting the two owners’ backgrounds and personal values. Beyond the logo, we created a website featuring online table reservations and produced a video to showcase their new establishment to the local community.

Our competitor analysis quickly revealed the critical importance of utilizing social media and Tripadvisor, as many visitors to the area were travelers. By connecting with local accommodations like Kolding Hotel Apartments and attractions such as Kolding Slotssøbad, we could attract hungry tourists who came to experience Kolding.
